On October 16, Galaxy and CompMechLab companies together with the Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University
signed an agreement on cooperation.
The agreement is aimed at collaboration in the construction of Factory of the Future, that will specialize in the design
and manufacture of space technology. Combining our efforts we can open the world's first digital factory for space industry.
The main goal is to begin the design, and with time deploy a cost- and time-effective production.

Our experts possess expertise in the design and manufacture of space activity ground infrastructure, namely, stations for receiving and processing space data of X, L, Ku bands and stations for receiving/transmitting commands to the satellite vehicles (telemetry) of S and UHF bands.
Galaktika works with the full range of challenges in the satellite engineering`s field. The companies of Galaktika GC produce and develop the following:
- Service systems for spacecrafts such as orientation and stabilization systems, temperature control systems, etc.
- Microsatellite platforms (including Cubesat type)
- Small spacecrafts on a turnkey basis (complete solution for the customer, ready-to-launch and further application)
- Large spacecrafts (ultra-high resolution ERS, communication devices)
One of the key areas of Galaktika`s research is the creation and production of ultra-light class satellite launchers, created for the rapidly growing sector of small satellite launchers.
The focal point is to create modern technological solution - the multiple-start capability and production of units and parts of launchers using additive technologies.
At the moment, work is in progress to create ultralight carrier rockets of 2 types: for deducing 70 kg. stress load on a solar-synchronous orbit and 100 kg. stress load on a low near-earth orbit.
Launch of spacecraft of class "mini" (10-100 kg) with cost of launch at the level of 30 thousand dollars per 1 kg. is also a priority direction of the company. Cost of launch such a PH - no more than 60 thousand dollars per 1 kg. pay load.
Company develops its own constellation, adapted to the technologies, standards, and requirements of the IoT, creating a common global uniform coverage in the M2M segment.
The project includes the deployment of a global grouping satellites (160 + 16 fall-back) with full surface coverage of the globe to provide packet data transfer between devices without human intervention (Internet of Things) in real-time mode.
The company is working out a valuable applications for using the ISS resources to make researches in the following projects:
- Creation and launch of a composite 3D-printer enabling to create elements of nano- and micro-satellites at the ISS from a composite material in order to create elements of carbon fiber on orbit;
- 3D bio-printing: project for printing fabrics and organs on the ISS for creation of printing technology and the cultivation of tissues and organs in conditions of space and weightlessness for various types of tissues and bodies.
-Carrying out scientific research and experiments for individual countries and consumers;
-Commercialization of medical and biological experiments' results in microgravity conditions for medical science, pharmacology, etc.

SCOPE OF ACTIVITY
«Pulsar» - IoT constellation
The project is aimed to create a telecom operator based on the company-owned low-orbit microsatellite packet constellation for the data exchange between the ground autonomous
subscribers (the so-called Internet of Things devices).
The system provides two-way exchange of data packets of 12..512 byte, at aspeed up to 500 bit/sec in real time between IoT users located everywhere on the Earth, via low-earth-orbit satellites using uniform connection standards.
Suborbital rocket «Teiya»
The main objective of the project is to significantly reduce cost of start-up services and expand the range of tasks performed suborbital rockets. Including, the holding of student experiments connected with the launching of suborbital rockets in space.
This is a great opportunity for young people to get practical experience in research and development and to demonstrate their engineering abilities in the aerospace industry.
Universal Satellite Platform
A microsatellite designer that allows, like CubeSat, collect apparatus with a mass of 50-120 kg.
Provision of services on the basis of universal satellite platform. Using different configurations
universal platform can test the platform for services - and quickly adapt to the requirements of the market.
Possible options: low-orbit communication (separate segments, such as the Internet of Things or Cospas-Sarsat signals), remote sensing resolution and high efficiency, refueling,
orbit, and so on.
In addition, on the basis of developments on the universal satellite platform, it is possible to create probes for long-range space.
The object of the project is an orbital city with population of
10 000 people.
Artificial gravity equal to the earth's gravity (1g) is created using inertia forces.
Rotation period - 1 revolution / 63 sec.
The basis of the city's concept is the project of a space colony "Stanford torus", in which significant improvements are made.
